The origins of Bandex date back to the mid-20th century, when our founder, seeking new business opportunities, embarked on a long journey through Southeast Asia. During his visits to plantations and factories in Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia—countries that produce over 90% of the world’s natural rubber—he envisioned a pioneering project in Europe: importing natural rubber to manufacture elastic bands and rubber products.
What began as a small factory in Aspe, Alicante (Spain), has grown over the years into a dynamic and well-established industry.
